We just had our wedding at the Doubletree and they require that you hire a day-of-coordinator. We didn't think we needed one since we had two years to plan our wedding, but we are SO THANKFUL that we had them. They are a mother-daughter team and they charge so much less than everyone else we looked at. They work together on every wedding, and they seem to be everywhere they need to be. Anytime I needed something (which was often) one of them was right there. They also communicate through headsets, so they knew at all times what the groom was doing and they made sure I didn't run into him. On top of that, they were there to answer our questions throughout our whole wedding planning process, so it was almost like we hired full time wedding planners for the price of day-of. They stayed the entire night of the wedding and even helped us the day after with tracking down our marriage license. They were amazing and we got so many comments from our relatives and guests on how well everything was organized. They did so much more than we ever expected of them, and saved us from so many disasters that I really can't imagine how anyone could do a wedding without them.
