" I wanted to take the time to thank you for making our wedding day an unbelievable experience. As an out of town bride, a Georgia girl at that, I didn't know where to begin planning a wedding when I was so unfamiliar with the city. I absolutely could not have done this without you. From our very first conversation, you all helped guide me towards reputable vendors as well as develop unique ideas that made our wedding one of a kind and truly special for our guests that came from all over the country.

There were so many things that you all did without hesitation that I consider above and beyond your duties as coordinators! From juggling input from ,not only the bride but also MOB and MOG, to responding to a high volume of late night emails from a neurotic bride, to the amazing timeline you assembled, to booking a last minute limo for the groomsmen, to requesting the best driver at the limo companies, to having to change the timeline on the run when the bride's hair wasn't done on time, to getting more matching chairs when extra guests showed up, to saving the reception from a vodka drought, to fixing my stubborn bustle, to driving home an inebriated wedding party and finally (and one of my most humorous memories of the night) assisting the matron of honor and groom in getting me out of my dress- who knew all those buttons would be so tricky! I could go on and on but the only way to describe it is that you went above and beyond the term "coordinator."

You both became part of the wedding and part of the experience while at the same time remaining behind the scenes. I have no idea if there were even any snafus at the wedding but in our minds everything was perfectly smooth and seamless which means you all dealt with it and we never had to worry once! I can't tell you how many guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to which is the best compliment a bride AND coordinator can receive. Make My Day embodies what the definition of wedding coordinator should be all about. Thank you so much to you both.

" My wedding 4 days ago was the best, most fun wedding I have ever attended. Before the wedding, I can't count the number of people who told me what a shame it was that most brides and grooms don't enjoy their own wedding. My now-husband and I were determined to not let this happen to us. There is no way we would've been able to have as much fun as we did if it were not for Carol & Christa, the two best wedding coordinators from Make My Day!

Carol and Christa are an amazing mother & daughter team that are organized, down to earth, relaxed, and FUN! Our wedding was anything but conventional - it was in the Big Red Barn at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. We had a BBQ, a photobooth, no wedding cake… Instead of trying to make our wedding more traditional (like most of our family and friends did), Carol and Christa understood what we wanted and encouraged us to make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. They came up with tons of great ideas and helped us to understand what would work and what wouldn't. They were 100% on our side. They were completely accessible at all times, they were able to get things done without being pushy, and they were able to help us deal with some difficult family situations.

I don't feel like this posting is giving Carol & Christa enough credit. They really did make our day…..and I already miss talking to them.

" I got married on July 2 and used Carol and Christa from Make My Day as my wedding coordinators. I have to say you cannot find a better pair around! I chose their "day of coordination" wedding package which was actually more like their "We'll help you plan everything" package. They were absolutely amazing! The day of my wedding they had everything perfectly planned and coordinated with all of the vendors right down to the minute. In addition to doing a phenomenal job, Carol and Christa were just the sweetest and most fun people to be around.

As they say, no wedding goes off without something inevitably going wrong, but I think the truest test of great wedding coordinators is making sure everything is taken care of before the bride and groom ever knew there was a problem. Carol and Christa are pros at this. I happened to pick the worst traffic day ever to get married, Sunday on the 4th of July weekend. With everybody driving up from LA, what's usually an hour to an hour and a half drive ended up taking our guests 3 to 4 hours. Fifteen minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start, half of my guests still hadn't arrived and even my string quartet was still stuck in traffic! Thankfully, I didn't know a thing about it because Carol and Christa had already taken care of everything! The wedding started a few minutes late but after the ceremony, they had us right back on schedule and the night went on absolutely perfectly. During my pictures, Christa was right there with my makeup to touch me up and when a song came on that I really wanted to dance to and I couldn't find my groom (he was in the bathroom), it was Carol and Christa again to the rescue! They even helped me when I needed to use the restroom in my big dress and enormous train (there are actually pictures of it and it's hilarious). Right down to the very last details, coordinating their outfits to match our wedding colors, and the absolutely gorgeous surprise they had lined up for us at the end of the night, they were absolutely wonderful! When I look back on my wedding, I don't think it would have been as spectacular as is was without Carol and Christa being a part of it!

I think another integral part of what makes Carol and Christa so special is the relationships they have with other wedding professionals in Santa Barbara. I think that when looking at vendors, it's so important to have a group who has worked together in the past and have as wonderful a relationship as we found with Carol and Christa from Make My Day, Harrison and Kim from Harrison Douglas Photography, and Gary from You're the Star Video. Their experiences working together not only made things run smoothly but also made them a lot of fun.

In addition to all the praises I can sing about their work and their amazing personalities, their services are so reasonably priced. I would have paid ten times what I paid in a heartbeat knowing what I do now to have them at my wedding. If anyone has any questions about their services or want a reference, please let me know. I can happily go on about how spectacular they are for hours! My husband and I love you ladies and are eternally grateful for the wonderful memories you helped us create!

" My husband and I honestly don't know what we would've done without the help of Carol and Christa. Hiring them to be our coordinators was probably the best decision we made about our wedding. 'The Ladies', as we lovingly called them, were there for us every step of the way. They suggested locations for our reception even before we hired them!

Planning a wedding is stressful, but I always knew that if I felt anxious or overwhelmed, they would be there for me. " Carol and Christa were unbelievably helpful. We hired them for day of coordinating, but they went above and beyond day of. For three months prior they were in constant communication with us, giving us vendor suggestions, providing moral support, coordinating the entire wedding, etc. They were also inexpensive - of all the vendors we dealt with, we felt they were the only ones undercharging. Here is a better sense of what service they provided:
  • They communicated with all our vendors, our florist, the Montecito Country Club, our officiant, our photographer, our DJ, everyone in our wedding party, etc. so that we did not have to tell anyone what to do and when they had to be there. This enabled us to relax and actually enjoy our day without having to worry about anything at all.
  • They thought of everything - for example, the bride was hot at one point in the wedding and Christa pulled out a personal fan to cool her off.

" Hiring Carol and Christa was one of the smartest decisions we made when planning our wedding. We had seen too many brides and grooms (and their mothers) going crazy on their wedding day and not being able to enjoy the day. But at the same time, we were a little nervous about putting our wedding into the hands of someone else! However, after the first meeting with Carol and Christa all our concerns disappeared - you instantly know that they will do anything and everything to make your day perfect.

While we only hired them for the "Day of" services, some of the most valuable and lifesaving things they did happened in the week before the wedding, when they contacted all our vendors for us, provided them with detailed timelines and let them know that they would be the points of contact on the day of. And from the second they appeared on our wedding day we didn't have to worry about anything! All we had to do was enjoy our special day and Carol and Christa took care of everything else. It was fantastic! I could list many amazing things they did, and I'm sure there is a lot they did that we don't even know about. The day before the wedding we gave them about 4 plastic crates filled with everything needed for the ceremony and reception- the reception menu cards, favors, table numbers, guest book, candles for the ceremony...everything. The next day everything was exactly where we expected it to be and setup perfectly. And that wasn't even the end - shortly after the reception, it was all delivered back to my parents' hotel room packed exactly the way it had all been when we gave it to them. Their attention to detail is amazing, and they truly made our wedding day perfect!
